Introduction to the Multi-Disc Screw Press Sludge Dewatering Machine

The Screw Press Sludge Dewatering Machine is designed with a filtration unit consisting of two types of rings: Fixed Rings and Moving Rings. Additionally, it features a screw shaft that pushes, filters, conveys, and applies pressure to the sludge for dewatering.

Structure of the Screw Press Sludge Dewatering Machine

Working Principle:

The gaps between the filter rings and the screw shaft grooves gradually narrow toward the sludge cake outlet. This design increases internal pressure due to the volumetric compression effect, which thickens and dewaters the sludge efficiently.

Product Advantages:

  1. Effective Treatment of Low-Concentration Sludge
    • Recommended sludge concentration: 2000 mg/L to 50,000 mg/L.
    • The unique spiral plate structure enhances pre-concentration and optimizes sludge treatment at low concentrations.
    • The flocculation and thickening processes work together, making dewatering easier.
    • Smart control valve optimizes sludge concentration before dewatering.
  2. Self-Cleaning, No Clogging
    • Moving and fixed rings replace traditional filter cloth, enabling self-cleaning and preventing clogging.
    • Easily handles oily sludge and sticky residues.
    • Features an automatic cleaning nozzle above the screw shaft, programmable via PLC and equipped with a high-pressure water gun.
  3. Low Noise, Low Energy Consumption
    • Energy-saving & environmentally friendly, reducing noise pollution.
    • Uses volumetric compression dewatering, eliminating the need for large, bulky drum filters.
    • Low operational speed (only 2-4 RPM) ensures efficient and quiet operation.
