In line with Vĩnh Phúc Province‘s sustainable development and environmental protection strategy, the project to construct two centralized wastewater treatment plants, each with a capacity of 170 m³/day.night (corresponding to Zone A and Zone B), was implemented in 2024. This is a significant step toward thoroughly treating wastewater generated within the division.
Project Scale & Key Components
The project includes the following main components:
- ✅ Design of domestic and industrial wastewater treatment technology
- ✅ Supply & installation of treatment equipment meeting QCVN 14:2008/BTNMT standards
- ✅ Construction of collection tank, equalization tank, biological tank, sedimentation tank, and disinfection tank
- ✅ Installation of electrical-control systems, pumps, air blowers, sludge press, etc.

Environmental & Economic Benefits for the Locality
Once operational, the Bình Xuyên Wastewater Treatment Plant will:
- Remove over 95% of pollutants from inlet wastewater
- Protect surface water and groundwater for residential areas
- Reduce environmental fines and increase land use value
