Coolflow IGE

Coolflow IGE is a fully inhibited thermal conductive fluid based on ethylene glycol, with anti-freezing properties. This product is suitable for use in all glycol-based cooling systems in the RAC, HVAC, and industrial sectors, including process cooling and air conditioning applications.

To prevent internal corrosion, scaling, and biological contamination, Coolflow IGE is formulated with multi-metal and multifunction inhibitors, exceeding ASTM D1384 standards.

• Summary -Rating: B
  Suitable for industrial process cooling systems, air conditioning, and other applications where toxicity is not a concern. It has good thermal and pumping properties.
• Performance – Rating: B
  High thermal conductivity and low viscosity at sub-zero temperatures, resulting in increased heat transfer efficiency and reduced energy demand.
• Anti-freeze – Rating: A
  Provides protection down to -58°F, with lower concentrations (by volume %) required to achieve the same freeze protection level compared to products like NTP, USP, ECO2, and ECO3.
• Corrosion Control – Rating: A
  Long-term formulation with synergistic corrosion inhibitors, exceeding BS6580 and ASTM D1384 standards. Also includes broad-spectrum biocides and polyacrylate to prevent fouling and scale deposition.
• Toxicity – Rating: D
  Classified as harmful but typically regarded as toxic. Suitable for industrial cooling systems where toxicity is not a concern.

• Density: 1.108 – 1.118 g/cm³ depending on the inhibitor
• pH: 8.0 – 9.0 depending on the inhibitor
• Boiling Point: >212°F
• Characteristics: Transparent liquid, slightly viscous, with a mild sweet taste and a characteristic but not overpowering odor.

Mixing Instructions

When measuring the percentage concentration of Coolflow IGE in the solution, we recommend using a recently calibrated refractometer.
